A technical SEO checklist for modern web apps
Crawlability, metadata, performance and structured data — the fundamentals that matter more than any trick.

Most SEO problems are technical problems in disguise: a page search engines cannot crawl, a title that says nothing, or a bundle that takes too long to render.
Make every page crawlable
- Use real links between pages, not click handlers.
- Generate a sitemap and keep robots.txt honest.
- Give every page one descriptive h1.
- Avoid rendering critical content only after user interaction.
Write metadata for humans
A title and description should read like a helpful summary, not a list of keywords. Keep descriptions specific and roughly under 155 characters.

- Serve responsive images in modern formats.
- Load third-party scripts only where needed.
- Reserve space for media to avoid layout shift.
Add structured data where it fits
Structured data helps search engines understand what is actually on a page. Only mark up things that exist and are visible — never add markup for content you do not show.
The most durable SEO strategy is a fast site with clear pages that genuinely answer the visitor's question.
